You might want to emphasize the words "as much".

Black people in America have exercized some of the strongest spending power in the world, which speaks to our desire for material consumption.

So the question isn't if non black women care about this shit. Of course they fucking do. The question is, do they care AS MUCH as black women do.

Depends on what you mean by "support" and what you mean by "hip hop".

White people support the music that caters specifically to them as well as the music that specifically does not cater to them. A Kanye West concert and a Jay Electronica concert audience will look fucking identical.

But they could give 2 fucks about Jeezy, Ross, 2 Chainz, Gucci, City Girls, Kash Doll, etc. And by the time they ever do, it'll be because the image of the artist changed drastically.
