Not doing any kind act. People should be able to voice their opinion. She didn't go overboard on some crazy shit in her comment, promote more violence, or tell anyone else to do what he did. Stop thinking only people that agree with you should be allowed to speak. That's being weak.

You saying there's NO WAY what he did could be seen as self defense?
 
People can't be objective is the problem. He went there with a gun, so he must have planned to shoot someone. Guys arm he shot lives just as far away and had a gun with him. Nobody will say he came there to shoot someone.

You're being disingenuous. The protests didn't just begin. Protesters were out there without weapons for the longest, then it was verified that armed right wingers were going out to protests with the intent of starting shit. So yeah, now some of the protesters carry guns to protect themselves. That doesn't change the fact that protesters are showing up to protests, while the right wingers are showing up for no other reason than to oppose and intimidate the protesters. I don't know if the kids went out there with the desire to shoot someone or not, but you're being disingenuous if you're implying that the motivation to carry for both guys was the same.

I agree with you that the threat of violence could be what motivated that guy to bring his gun with him. But unless there's no threat of violence coming from the protesters, counter protesters could have guns for the same reason.

You're skeptical that I'd be able to find plenty of examples of extreme violence by protesters? Or you're saying counter protesters wouldn't ever arm themselves for self defense? Let me know which.

What I'm saying is both sides have people that come out there with the intentions of fuckin people up. So how do you figure only one sign can bring a gun for protection?

Protesters are not going to the protests to confront counter protesters. That's not their purpose. They were protesting before counter protesting was a thing. The counter protesters are the ones that grabbed guns and entered the scene with the specific purpose of confronting protesters. I'm sure you can find incidents where there has been violence committed by the protesters, but the protesters weren't the ones that turned it into a situation where guns are needed for protection. How long were the protests active before we even heard about anyone getting shot or killed? Which side started the shooting? I'm not saying that only one side can bring guns. I'm saying that nobody should need guns for peaceful protests, but the people on the right are the reason guns have entered the picture not the other way around. So they don't get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their reasoning for why they are carrying.
