This album is AMAZING. I really havent been expecting much from Kanye. But this might be the best produced hip hop album I heard in a looooong time.
Kanye actually rapped good, the features were on point. Fivio snapped, the weekend killed his feature, Jay elec AAAAAND the lox on that insane beat.....fuck that. This album is top tier. This shit might be a classic. At least a personal one.
Put the kanye fuck shit aside and just enjoy GOOD music.....dude was obviously LOCKED in for this one!

This ain't better than Nas,J Cole,any Griselda project this yr,or Lloyd Banks.

he wasn't locked in.he got a bunch of ppl working on this shit and didn't even want this dropped.

Yeah,he always had a lot of features,but there was no question of who the star was and he rapped a lot.

IDK if he has any solo song where he raps 2 or 3 verses.

I don't hate it,but I doubt I come back to it after the hype dies down.

I didn't say he had to,but kanye come up off being the mainstream version of what Native Tongues did.

But where is that grass roots,soulful sound and real spitters besides The Lox,Jay,and Jay Elect.

what two albums sound the same? Didn’t he get shit for 808s and yeezus’ sound at the time?

You’re just saying what you personally wanted on the album and since you didn’t get it, it bothers you.

If you compare this just musically to what’s out this is good

Nas got album of the year so far. I know its possible that Kendrick gonna take that from Nas if he drops this year.

His first 3 albums and MTDF share a common style

Graduation was more experimental but still captured that Kanye vibe.

Good Friday kanye was fire when he did music with other ppl who make more hardcore hip hop or underground/lyrical hip hop.

Common,Big Sean,Cole,Ghostface etc etc

It's good,but after all the hype,I like several albums better that dropped recently
