After telling a story about realizing his father had been cheating on his mother for years, Carmichael takes a beat and looks out at his audience. “After that was out in the open, I was left alone feeling like a liar, because I had a secret,” he says. “One that I kept from my father, my mother, my family, my friends, and you. Professionally, personally. And the secret is that I’m gay.”

Yeah so... I don't know how to describe a comedy special where at the end you feel like you want to give dude a hug and tell him it's gonna be ok. Like... bruh... you're supposed to make us laugh and feel like it's gonna be ok.

i didnt kno

He always gave off a real soft and effeminate vibe, and he was never actually funny. Something just seemed off to me. Most people took it as he was just one of them weirdo comedians that not everybody gets, but to me it always came off as try hard. Now it’s obvious it was just his way of coping.

I’m honestly not surprised. Reading the title of this thread, it immediately made perfect sense to me.

Dude's name is in the title of the thread. And it's also the title of his (admittedly short-lived) NBC T V show. They don't have google at your halfway house?
When I read the title I pictured Eric Andre

When I saw the OP pic I thought it was Fab

At this point I'm already two inception layer deep on C List entertainers. I didn't think he was worth googling at that point 🤷🏿‍♂️
