The trailer looks like this will be trash. Can't be worse than the third film tho.

Honestly they could make a stellar film just recreating the first film but maybe do 3 main characters instead of two. You could even set it in the 1400s or something to show just how far back the creature goes and talk about its origins a little.

I like the far back idea because in modern times films just make people too stupid for the sake of plot. Decades before on the other hand it would legit be some other shit seeing something like that.
