well, 1, dont shoot the messenger
2, if the goal was to highlight how there is still a blatant injustice being done against him, and now you've attached one of the biggest names in hip hop to the league that was "proven" to have blackballed him, i think its safe to assume that there had to be some input/collaboration with Kap to further the message and to drive the point home that the NFL has a ton of work to do when it comes to being sensitive to racial inequalities/injustices outside of the hash marks on the field.
I dont think anyone should be faulted for applying that assumption
BUT, there are two things going on at the same time that seemed to be getting intertwined with each other
1) If you haven't fucked with Jay for a while, then nothing this dude does/will do shy of curing Aids or cancer will be good in your eyes, and even if he did that, there will still be some asterisks applied...so further demonizing him is an exercise in futility
2) the NFLPA is getting absolutely NO blame for what happened to Kap. If you ask me, they have come out squeaky clean in all this when they should've been the loudest.
