Breaking News Jay-Z accused in a civil lawsuit of r*ping a 13yo girl in 2000 along w/ ‘Diddy’ Update: Accuser speaks “I have made some mistakes”

Never heard this song.

Would never listen to it again.

Niggaz wild for making shit like this.

I don't understand the motivation. Shit didn't even get radio play. Why did they HAVE to record this, let alone put it on an album?

Nasty work.
Just reading the words is disgusting. I said it in a thread earlier this year that rap music gotta reckon with the fact that like every other genre there's far too many bars and songs like this that have been made

I first heard that song on a Pharrell mixtape on my streaming service a couple years ago and my first thought was... Did I hear this shit right?

I think I also did bring it up here sometime...

Jigg seen as untouchable or above reproach by a large section of his fans and rap fans in particular... But it's whatever

There's been a battle since that elevator incident between Jay fans and Beyonce fans. Her stans want her to divorce him and his stans think he'd be at the same level without her influence. It's sad as hell

Dog, let's be real. We looking at some of this shit and forgetting that back in the 90s and before, some of this shit wasn't even widely looked at as wrong. You had 30 y/os prowling around high schools and people knew the shit and didn't run their asses off. Hell, look how long it is before it became majority opinion that R Kelly is foul. A lot of people was giving him a pass for a long ass time, and he wasn't messing with 19 y/os.

That's the struggle many are having now. Is retroactive punishment or chastising really a good thing or not? Because there is alot of shit that did need to change that some are fighting to hold onto.

Yeah, I don't know. I feel like some shit is on the line and shouldn't be prosecuted but instead just used as a lesson of what shouldn't be done anymore. Some of the foul shit that people were doing back in the day was wrong and they knew it was wrong though.

Slightly related, I saw this video form a black chick talking about she never really thought about how often black men get abused as children. She said she asked her bf about his first sexual experience and he told her he was 8 and the chick was 17. She was blown by that, so she started asking other dudes she knew, and half the dudes were in similar situations.

I been said it’s a lot of dudes who are victims of sex crimes and not just by other men. But this country thinks all boys want sex as soon as we hit puberty and men being victims of sex crimes is shrugged off or laughed at if it’s a prison thing.
