True, but the Youtubers just go around harassing people randomly. Those TV shows usually had a team of people that put thought into selecting where they would go do the prank, screened potential prankees, and shut shit down before things got out of hand. That's part of the problem with these YouTubers. They see shit like Jackass and don't realize that them dudes basically cut most of the encounters that didn't turn out well and had to be stopped before shit went south.

This is thanks to the three who made this type of prank famous: Roman Atwood, Fousey and Vitaly…and what was unknown to the viewers was these 3 staged the majority of their pranks that were filmed for their “hood pranks”. Now those copy cats pay a real price for pulling real pranks.

Vitaly's were everywhere for a hot minute. Dude had to be making bank offa YT back then 'cause all his shit managed to go viral.
