I’m still thinking about what I wanna do. About halfway done with the Meyers book

I’ve narrowed it down to 2: either IT management or software development

just started refreshing for the network + cert. and hopefully I can get it down in the next few months. Been watching alot of videos and man this shit turns into noise after awhile.

Anyone heard of Cybrary? It's a real good free IT resource:
https://www.cybrary.it/

I remember seeing that cybary site in the old IT thread in the old IC. Good looking out

This thread is too good to be this dead. Some news: I got a job working technical support at a call center for some apple accounts. Been getting turned down for lack of experience but I lucked out with this job. Pay is eh but at least I’m getting experience

For PAID online courses these are the two I use the most

https://tutsplus.com/ and https://www.linkedin.com/learning/

I tend to learn easier by watching the videos and following along with the code examples. If you prefer reading instead, Mobilism is a good forum for Ebooks and it's free as well. https://forum.mobilism.org

Once you figure out what direction you're looking to go into let me know. I may have some resources or other sites I can share

Yeah, they have a lot of beginner courses on both of those sites. As far as books you really gotta narrow it down to what you're trying to learn.

For kids... I don't have much experience with these sites but they may help... CodeMoji, CodeMonkey and Tynker

So I officially started the training for the Apple support position. It’s the basic help desk job. Listened into some calls and boy are people dumb lol. 3 weeks of training but I’m keeping my full time job for the next 3 weeks. I’m doing that from 7-3 and then the training from 4-12:30. Shit is rough but I’m pushing through
