I admittedly overrate him as well as most people, and it ain’t shit wrong with it. It has nothing to do with if he’s a terrible rapper cuz he wasn’t. Everything to do with the fact that his death amplified his legacy to the maximum. That and while he’s never had a bad album, you put the albums he dropped when he was alive against the other best albums in those years it’s hard to say he was “the GOAT” like a lot of people tho. His output posthumously also, for the most part, hurts his legacy. The quality or quantity argument is right there. Funny enough 2Pac with that kind of output would thrive in the streaming era. That being said his influence has been far and wide the last almost 30 years since he passed for better or worse. I think a lot of it is human nature that most people feel the need to put him on the pedestal and there’s not a damn thing wrong with it.
