IRM was coming off the hype of IR 1Either Ironman 2 or 3. I think both did.
Aquaman did a billie.......
Nostalgia a bitch. Folks just feel comfortable with the movies/shows they grew up with. I be doing the same ill start something then lose focus then put on something i seen 100 times. At first I thought it was superhero fatigue but it might just be movie fatigue period.
I find myself looking towards older films if I want to lock in and engage for a couple hours. A lot of these films today don't do that for me. I start a film and 15 minutes in I'm on my phone.

IRM3 was coming off the hype of Avengers
Aquaman was coming off the hype of DC doing their own shared universe
I was answering why wack ass movies made a billOk. Don't know what this gotta do with what AP asked but ok.
This is where I'm at, though I really liked the Secret Invasion show and am disappointed in how bad it was received.1. I dont want to go to a theatre anymore, 2 Yea im not intrested in the marvel stuff and I dont know why. I'm wasting money on D+, Hopefully F4 brings me back
I'm a huge fan of entire season released and binging on your own time instead of waiting for the weekly releaseThis is where I'm at, though I really liked the Secret Invasion show and an disappointment in how bad it was received.
I do have "appointment" fatigue. People work too long these days, so we do consume on the go or get in where it fits in. I miss when new series released all the episodes at once.
X-Men 97 episodes wouldn't hit the way they do if they released all the episodes at once. The binge model has actually made consuming content worse
I see both sidesI'm a huge fan of entire season released and binging on your own time instead of waiting for the weekly release
