It's kinda weird. I think everyone respects what she's done in the game, but her music is pretty polarizing. You either love it or don't care for it. If Missy is under appreciated anywhere, I'd say it's as a writer/producer cuz that doesn't get talked about as much as her overall music.

There's a big difference between being an ill MC vs writing hits.

Missy came out around the same time as Canibus. Canibus was the iller MC, but he couldn't write a hit to save his life.

Canibus will never make the Hip Hop Hall of Fame.
