If You Give Something Away, Do You Care How It's Used?

If I gave away a $1K coat and a week later you on the street changing brakes in the shit, I'm gon be like:

I gave someone a pair of hightop Prada sneakers cause I didn't want them anymore

He was wearing them everyday, probably changing oil, raking leaves, etc... them bitches was busted after a month or two.

Initially, I was like damn, this how you do the shoes? Then I realized, at any given time, I have 40+ pairs of shoes, I'm so fortunate and privileged to even have this many pair. I'm glad he found a use for em or they would've just been sitting in my closet or at Goodwill somewhere

Yeah, someone give me prada sneakers, Imma wear them shits like they came from Walmart. I prolly got a good 4 or 5 pair of shoes tops.

I just had to buy some new black shoes this weekend for a formal event we went to Saturday night.

Last time I bought new sneakers was during the Kendrick/Drake beef, and they my damn near every day shoes. Right now I'm wearing some Sketchers slip ons I got from Target with a couple gift cards.

Don't give me no nice shoes you expect me to take care of.

This is WILD to me, and an extreme waste of money. I've seen niggas with closets full of shoe boxes...and it just seems silly to me.... Like I'll never get it.
 
I did see some Steve Madden sneakers at the K&G I liked the other day for like $70 when I was getting the dress shoes Saturday. I might go grab those this weekend when I get paid though. So it's not all lost

I do like to smell good though..I still got both those bottles and only break them out on special occasions..I'm definitely gonna hit you up for some of those soon too. I really liked both of those scents

we all have our thing which is why i try not to judge people

what is shoes for me is _____ to you.

or to put it into perspective, NONE of the shoes I have ever bought came at the expense of something else. All of my bills are paid and no one is threatening to cut shit off cause I took that money to buy sneakers.

At one point, i was buying shoes on steep clearance so instead of lets say $175 for one pair, I was getting 3 maybe 4. Now I am more selective and will only buy maybe 2 pair a year (that I can style with most clothing in my closet instead of one hitter quitters) but i'm also stepping into a different era of fashion for myself so those same sneakers I used to buy, I wouldn't look twice at them now cause my style has changed.
