I mean basically what you're saying is we can only go to certain outlets, and limit our reach. Nothing wrong with doing BC, but Cube has a brand that reaches multiple markets. No one tell a white businessman to stick to certain outlets, but everytime we get restricted, it's bullshit to be honest.

Rogan has the biggest podcast int he world, why should Cube not go on there? Makes no sense. Maher has every damn celeb and politician on his shows, but Cube shouldn't do it? We have to stop worrying about what white people tell us to think and worry about ourselves. Every outlet you named and the other "approved" has said shit about us before, it's myth to think anything mainstream isn't controlled.

Why do we care what looks a way?

So how things are perceived is the deciding factor when trying to get a message out or bring visibility to a problem?

This is about reach, connections, access and networks.

Out of all those named, what is the audience that’s reached? Are we really going to pretend any of them go too far above hip hop and sports?
Like bruh said, we stay limiting ourselves over image.

We can’t say or talk about progressive movement when we limit ourselves to not offend those who we are trying to help.
Yet, turn right around and then ask them same people for reparations and do right by us.

They have pressed umar plenty of times nigga and he never has said shit that was problematic except the anti gay stuff they pressed him on the black separatist shit and supporting Kanye stop lying. The reason ppl calling Cube a coon is because he’s doing interviews with niggas who are framing him as a “Civil rights leader” to try to sway his fans or mislead others into the positions/political side they believe in which is full of white supremacist.

I don’t care bout all that shit. Did they ask the nigga where the school and money at and when it’s gonna be done and why it seems he’s scamming people.

What do you label him?
How do we see him?
What are his intentions for black people.

It’s crazy to me the white people have free rein on how they do shit but we gotta please the very masses we may step out into white spaces to help.
