How Should We Go About Rebuilding Our Community?

I think it starts with iliminating the boredom. If kids had decent schools and after school programs there wouldn't be all the just hanging out. Then you have to teach them self worth. They also need to learn the possibilities. I was raised on an island so my doctors, teachers and store owners were black. It wasn't until I came stateside that I begun to see what America puts on Black people. Don't ge me wrong racism is strong everywhere but that feeling that I couldn't be something started when I got here.
 
If we are to rebuild our community, we must first and foremost rebuild the trust that has been diluted, removed, and washed from our history

we are too quick to give other ethnic groups the benefit of the doubt while shunning our fellow man that looks like us
