Welcome To aBlackWeb

How many jobs have u held in your life so far?

Got curious about it after seeing the question in the last abw family feud.

Include side jobs/hustles/under the table if they were actual jobs...

Im bout to be 32 been working since a seasonal job at 15 that paid cash every nite.

Im on number 7 right now. With 3 or 4 being side jobs. In that age range dont think ive gone more than a couple weeks without being employed and all my full time job transitions overlapped each other.

What about yall?

6 jobs mayne.

Would say 7 but one of jobs is my current that I left and came back

A lot of them.

My resume is currently 7 pages long and only covers my IT jobs since '98 and even then it doesn't cover all of them. It's also missing my jobs as a loan officer and a subprime AE.

1. I worked at my mom's job recording invoices before computers took that job. They manually had to enter every invoice into a book of invoices. It was a tedious job that paid $30 a day. I was 14. It was money whenever I wanted it.

2. Snow ball stand. 15. Bar/deli in downtown. Worked it the summer. I used to fill my cup up with beer and put snow balls on top so I could drink all day

3. McDonald's

4. Temp agency. I worked at ez pass, hotels, and libraries

5. TSA 4 years

6. Door - door sales for adt. Almost made sales manager and got on salary. But the company folded and I ain't feel like going to another sales company like everybody else was doing

7. Temp agency again. Worked at the zoo. A few warehouses where I linked up with some car jackers. And my last assignment with my company now

8. Customer service/ mail room/ document center/ print specialist/ server admin for my current full time job. I do it all. Right now I'm a floater going to different sites in the region as needed. I get expense money so it's mad extra pay every month.

9. Bouncing/door guy/security .Almost forgot . Best side gig since I was 19. I know everybody, so if I ever need work it's nothing to find it. I also worked for an agency once that did cruise ships and office buildings. Always good money

10. Another I forgot. Supermarket deli/ seafood. Little side gig I picked up for a Short time. Money was horrible though, plus I can't work under peoples like that...

Whats your quit/fired ratio fam
never been fired, quit after months or so. Longest job I had was 3 years.

Mostly bullshit jobs.

That's why I've been preaching going independent and becoming your own boss for a while.

Held down 11 jobs and I'm only 26 b.

13 jobs if you count internships.

I've worked everywhere

warehouses, call centers, restaurants , burger king, door to door sales, customer service you name it
