Not that I agree, but the idea would be other things would take the place of materialism.

For example, the importance placed on money would be replaced with an importance placed on a persons level of education, knowledge of sciences, artistic abilities, etc.

So we still competing but its not for money but for more productive things

Everybody having the same can stunt growth IMO


Of course some things needs to change but still.

But it's still a competition.

Thing is we all better or leading in something over someone else.

I won't get into the gym trying to lift more than black Samson. Thats his thing. But I'm not mad he may be stronger either.

But in a way we kinda already where you are talking about.
Some people are respected for their abilities.
 
Btw, capatilism vs communism is a dead debate cause communism is a dead ideology. And no China is not a communist country.

Communism evolved into Democratic Socialism and Democratic socialism further evolved into Communalism better known now as democratic confederalism. Its an idelogy created by Murray Bookchin, and used by Kurds in Syria that Trump sold out.

Communalism is an interesting ass political system and way of life. Anyone interested should look it up.

Difference is competing over finite resources brings out the worst in human nature.

Competing on some intellectualist shit will bring out the better sides of human nature and be overall more beneficial.

There will still be pieces of shit, but overall the world would be a better place, in theory.
