Have you ever tried to introduce one set of friends to another set of friends?

Let’s say you got a group of friend from one group - say, school or something.

Have you ever had an event where you had them in a spot with another group of friends you got?

If so, how did that go?
 
It was cool with most awkward with a few. Birthdays usually were the time it had to go down.
 
Idk about “cross breed” but my friends from work have met my other friends and they meshed well. Some of us are all going on a trip soon.
 
I've been doin it on Zoom. That had to stop.

When I first created my Friday Night Shenanigans, it was never marketed to any specific group of people, but my band folk were the ones who showed up in force. After about a month, they were the only ones there.

Once in a while I would bring in other folks. The first one was contentious, but fun. The 2nd time, not so much.

I've learned that all my worlds simply cannot co-exist together.
 
nope....always been compartmentalized....work doesnt spill into personal life, i have different groups of friends on each social media platform

i dont mingle with folks from my church because I dont want them trying to hang out or come thru when I got family or other friends over

i've been stuck at another chicks house before while she got her hair done.....me and the dude sat in the livingroom in silence for like 2 hours until somebody broke out some weed lol....then we still kinda had a group convo it wasnt just me and him clackin

No but I’ve had people that I’m friends with try to introduce me to their other friends and it rarely ever went well. In fact i can count on one hand the amount of times when it went well.

And the times where I’ve been with a friend and came across another person who I considered friend. Their reaction was always “why are you hanging out wit that person”

My friends were either scum bags that identified with cause of where I came from, or kinda saditty individuals that I’ve met in professional settings that held me at a high accord and were surprised to find out I came from the slums.

It’s not an aura that beams from me, so I understand, so I kept friends separated
 
Kinda crazy....

I got indirectly blamed for a lot of shit....

Basically I was throwing parties and making music with people I worked with when one of my homies from around the way came home from jail trying to get into rap...

So I blended the two.... Some things were cool... Some were horrible
 
Nah at most it would be one and I'd see how they all interact. My circle goes back to highschool so it's easier breaking one in that I'm close with.
