My only real issue with s8 (minus the finale which I dont acknowledge at all) was that it needed to be 10 eps. Everything that happened was fine it just needed to be parsed out. We basically got a summary of the season instead of the season.

I didn't have beef with anything from a narrative standpoint. There was dumb shit that happened like cersei and dany's standoff....that whole scene was fuckin retarded. But it didn't take away from the place it got us to imo.

My whole thing about the stand off it should’ve been Starks ruining Lannister’s that were the beef was. And Dany had a dragon at the meeting she could’ve took over then

This is true. HBO was more than willing to give them more seasons.
Blame it on those fuck ass showrunners.
Better writing would have saved the last season but they crammed too much into it where decisions made no sense.
