Man, fuck all of S8.Lookin back I still dont really hate s8. It's obviously not as good, but I can deal with it.
That finale tho........
The first two episodes were fillers, the War For the Dawn was super rushed, Dani's snap into madness didn't make a lot of sense, and Jonny Star getting sent back to Night's Watch/Bran becoming king was dumb as FUCK.
S8 damn near ruined the greatest show of all time. Knocked that bitch from certified #1 show ever down to #4, behind The Wire, the Sopranos, and Breaking Bad.

I Didn't feel like everyone else about season 8. It was clearly the worst season. But niggas are acting like they weren't even ENTERTAINED during the season. Regardless of what was rushed, etc, I was thoroughly entertained each and every episode of season 8. That's gotta count for something. As far as the bolded, the lackluster season 8 is the ONLY thing that keeps GoT from being my clear cut #1. And even WITH that season, it's still almost neck and neck with The Wire.
My only real issue with s8 (minus the finale which I dont acknowledge at all) was that it needed to be 10 eps. Everything that happened was fine it just needed to be parsed out. We basically got a summary of the season instead of the season.
I didn't have beef with anything from a narrative standpoint. There was dumb shit that happened like cersei and dany's standoff....that whole scene was fuckin retarded. But it didn't take away from the place it got us to imo.

Don't be disrespectful. They didn't run to the nights watch. They STORMED the night's watch trynaget over the wall. Then were all at hardhomme willing to take their chances with the walkers, like 'Fuck the crows'. Before Jon snow and torment c onvinced them otherwise.
