I mean you can only fuck so much shit up, before it’s too normal and news cycles don’t care. If nothing has happened by the time the news cycles stop reporting, the general public stops caring. The social media posts don’t keep flowing. The voices remain unheard. And this is mainly cuz we as a society have completely been bribed, and beaten into submission. If we stand up together, our attention gets divided, our ideologies are pitted against each other. The actions of the few taking advantage of the mass situation to do immoral shit (ex: looting small businesses that are owned by POC during a protest for equal rights), are blown up to spread a smear campaign against the whole movement. And this is just the tip of the iceberg
