I saw a video of an older British dude who said something like our food has what you call flavor and theirs is sadness.

When you look up their popular dishes, you will see why their food is not really talked about.

French - crepes

Crepes and gelato are basic and not even considered entrees.

The rest you’re talking about Americanized versions.

Alfredo sauce in Italy doesn’t even have cream or garlic. It’s just butter, Parmesan, and pasta water lol.

Stromboli was invented in the US by Italian Americans in the 50’s. It’s not even an authentic Italian dish.
