I randomly made an oven turkey where I brined it damn near all week. Threw some liquid smoke in there and cooked it damn near all day on a LOW ass temp...maaaan...it was crispy on the outside but moist like chicken. I was sad to see that mf go.

This OG u talkin to youngblood. Ive fried turkeys in my time but good oil is expensive and Popeyes got that thing precooked and ready to go.

I would never eat the Popeye bird for the actual holiday. But ill hit that drive-thru for a bird, biscuits, and sum redbeans & rice. Throw in a couple them fried apple piessjshdbxjjdnd nxnr f xujdbdbdbdbxb......

This is big facts. Turkey is one of the most bland meats ever.

This one year i lived across the street from this samoan family. Maybe they were hawaiian. They were all older than me at the time. They were maybe seniors in highschool, i was in 6th grade. They used to come and use my basketball hoop all the time cuz my white ass wasnt putting it to any use. One thanksgiving we were out there just shooting the ball and they told me to come inside their house. These motherfuckers made the craziest turkey ive ever had. Had pineapples all over it and some sort of glaze on the outside. Skin was crisp as fuck. I dont know how they did it, but whatever sauce they used that shit went through ALL the meat. Best turkey ive had in my entire life. Aint never had a thanksgiving turkey come remotely close to that and ive been to a lot of thanksgivings outside of my house.
 
I dont eat a lot of typical side dishes anymore since ive been eating low carb. Last year i made a meeeeaaan green bean casserole and mashed cauliflower with bacon and turkey gravy though. Made these cheddar biscuits too with almond flour and coconut flour that turned out really good.
