Black immigrants came over in 1965, majority. Most black immigrants in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, kept to themselves as a family unit. They did not got to FBA spots, clubs, churches, concerts, lounges. etc. The kids/teens that were in school, most if not all, did not get into trouble, stayed away from trouble, some of the dudes wore church shoes and socks, didn't get haircuts on the norm, were very quiet, kept to themselves, socially awkward, did not know the black lingo, did not listen to rap music nor R&B music, did not sit with the cool kids. They did not have a girlfriend, most of the pretty girls did not fool with them. The family had 1 car or no car, the mother did not work 40 hours a week, the father was very strict, most parents told the children not to hang around FBAs kids/teens. the kids didn't play outside with the other FBA kids in the neighborhood or projects The kids got talked about at school, because of their odor, clothing, the way they talked, their name.
