With new information that's out, FBAs are now not seeing Herc as this regular person that DJ a party. Nothing else. Just like when you and others found out Christopher Columbus didn't discover America, now folks talk about him as not being the founder, the information that they stated about CC is a lie, just like it is for Herc.

So the small amount of niggas online said Kool Herc solely founded hip hop. I’ve never seen that anywhere in my life. I thought Grandmaster Flash and them were the founders for real.

One thing I did get wrong is that he does say that he founded hip hop and was the first to do the merry-go-round or break beat but some people from that era don’t agree and also say that the culture of hip-hop was already around before he started DJing
