Yeah I completely own that I have a double standard on this.
For males, whatever you do with your hair is purely a matter of vanity. These young niggas gettin ass with sideshow bob hairstyles, so clearly it don’t really matter what you do with it.
I feel It’s very different for women as it regards to their self esteem, particularly black women. I would never.
In fact I would treat anyone who fucked with either of my daughters hair like that as an assault on them and would handle it accordingly. Including their mothers.
