I like the move Joe made. He's aware that he is now in the position of power. He's no longer a desperate MC ready to battle any and everybody. He's moving like a boss now. U think today's Jay or Nas would drop a diss record the day after somebody sends a shot at them? Hell nah. They move like bosses. Budden is taking a page outta Jay's book and learned how to move like a brand and not just a rapper.

joe is moving in the 2018 world and has a podcast where people here from him almost daily...
we didn't hear from jay daily when he was beefing..
he wasn't offering his constant opinion about the rap game and talking out the side of his mouth every day in 2001
budden is doing this in an age where everybody has twitter, youtube...access...
it's only so many times we can hear joe talk about rappers without battling them...especially knowing he's a nice rapper...
