em definitely had a legendary impact on the game as a whole....

being white instantly made him a crossover success story

his label & shade 45 opened crazy opportunities for mad rappers....i can't tell you how many ppl i discovered thru sway in the morning

and i can confidently say 8 mile is my favorite hip hop movie...


however musically.....

i really liked mix tape em before the albums...

but once the albums came along....shit was just different

this song is prime example



i was like 17... and this sounded like some shit i couldn't get down with.....
