Kids being raised by the internet and their phones have killed real face to face social skills and interacting with people. Folks is really awkward in face to face settings.
When I saw that article a few years ago saying younger people feel uncomfortable with eye contact during conversations I knew shit was fucked. A person doesn't have to stare at me but if we conversing and we never have eye contact I take that shit as disrespect.

Shit, just yesterday I was at Starbucks...and the young man was respectful as hell. Shit was almost foreign .
I had to speak to him to let him know I appreciated his demeanor and gave him a tip.
And right after....I got cussed out at Walmart because I kept double scanning shit so the chick had to keep coming over. I mean...I did start doing it on purpose but she started it. And yes i was the adult but yes I got petty.
