I'm laughing because the dream world is silly like that. Lucid dreaming can be fun, but when its too often or you can't turn it off, that's when it gets scary. Like you, I've had death experiences in a dream, where I either wake up in pain from whatever killed me or I feel myself just laying there in my dream. Like when people say they dream of falling but wake up just before they hit the ground; I've definitely hit the ground and woke up with real pain.

The creepiest thing about dreams is that when I would get threatened, I would tell the person that I'm dreaming and they can't hurt me, and they would acknowledge that they know I'm aware of the dream but that they could still hurt me. Makes me feel like the dream world is another dimension and not just in our mind.

What's crazy is there are no sensations in a dream, yet you still somehow experience all your senses. Doesn't make sense.

Sensory carryover.

idk about anyone else

but when I have lucid dreams it feels like I'm only in control of my actions/movements

whatever scenario or setting I'm in or who I'm around jus seems to be there

it got to a point where my dreams became less crazy (like me being able to fly away) & more regular day activities (like going to the store)

& honestly the regular dreams were kinda scarier, not the dreams themselves but waking up & not being able to decipher if I really went to the store or was I dreaming

Ahhh I see. I thought a lucid dream you recognize that you are dreaming and can control whatever in the dream. Maybe theres different levels to it.

Everytime I realize that im dreaming and try to do some cool shit I wake up right away lol

Yes, its like Brian said, I'm only in control of my actions. That's why it feels more like a separate dimension of recycled thoughts and ideas. I have returned to the same dream scenario one night after the next as if it were a destination.

This is possible too. The dream world definitely has less limits than our world seemingly does, and you can will more control of things around you. I have not been able to greatly harm anyone though, its like my arms won't let me.

When I was a kid I dreamed I was invited to be a Beatle Borg, the black one lol. I can't lie, I turned heel immediately. Trashed them and the whole city. But no one died. Woke up like nothing happened.
