OUT NOW Drake - For All The Dogs šŸ•

all this "If Joe wanna problem we'll give him a problem" and these threats of physical harm cause Joe said his album was wack
How is that being a "respectable men" Birdman???

Nah. He was out of pocket for this part.

Let's not pretend these niggas were beefing at one point already. He could've gave the review (which I relatively agreed with) instead of doing what he did in the tweet. Nigga did that shit loud af for hundreds of thousands of viewers and listeners and he ate.

It's not as simple as Joe just giving a poor review. Yall know it's levels.

I think drake is overreacting but you can't police peoples response to disrespect.

I hope for both sides it gets deaded tho. It was never headed anywhere good to begin with. Now it's just in corny territory.

Can anyone breakdown the significance of the flow on track 19 or how great the production was? Anything that would make me want to check out the album?

Sounds like he was paying some more homage to Texas and that is gonna be a nice screw mix later.

It opens well with Virginia Beach but this is probably the weakest opening to one of his albums since take care.

Most of these niggas didn't even get to polar opposites and away from home which are probably the best record or at least the most introspective

Bahamas promises a stand out for me but most of you didn't come for that and can't appreciate that gem for what it was

Fear of heights was dope

The teezo touchdown tracks amen and 7769 hit. Felt like drake was able to reach both his core young and older fans with these successfully here imo.

8am and first person shooter are the obvious go 2s for the united negro enyce fund. But drake and Cole got it and gave these loud casuals their lil solid. And they was mad ungrateful.

All the parties was a nice surprise feat but familiar sound with the signature flip

Hoes in the club gonna fuck with gently and the fuckboys in the club gonna love daylight I'm cool

I'd stay away from idgaf and rich baby daddy cause nigga šŸ¤¢šŸ¤®

7769-8am is a pretty good straight run

Worst run is gently-another late night

Overall 7/10 for me.

Man the amount of left turns, sudden drops, and loops in this thread.

Reality is Drake was of the Budden and Phonte mindset when he was younger, but to get and stay where he wants to be you stick to the formula... I think ppl fail to realize the man knows who his music is marketed to and is gonna ride that wave. No different than Trump knowing his audience and sticking to them. The youth not trying to hear the Drake we say we want, the Drake of yester-years, a mature Drake, how is that relevant to them or his ability to increase status/pockets/opportunities...

If you expect a change, best keep on waiting... maybe he will or won't or maybe the next up and coming will drown him out and he fades... no matter how you feel art is art and its subjective, some gonna like it, some won't, some will overhype it and others will unjustifiably degrade it. At this point, he's, to our knowledge, happy where he's at...

SN: his lashing out at Budden could very well be because it hits close to home for him and there's a part of him that acknowledges what was said by Budden and maybe even wants to emerge, but this is rap and ego stands tall

This is true. The main criticism being thrown about Drake not maturing is also the reason he's still so relevant to people just now entering that time period Drake was literally living through when he first blew up 15 years ago.

But that also leads to your 2nd point which is that if Drake truly wants the critical, and lyrical, acclaim he seems to desperately want then he's gonna have to abandon the formula and just make music. Especially when we are now in a time where we've seen in real time rappers grow with their audience and still get critical and social acclaim
