That's why that article I posted is unfortunately still relevant. Drake does have more to rap about and when he does he's actually good at it. Those are his songs that tend to still stand the test of time. "Look What You've Done" "Fireworks" "Unforgettable" etc where he's not on some woe is me my life is terrible no matter how rich I get still sounds good. But as he's progressed its gotten less personal and more about creating a "moment"

For those that have issue about drake "talking about the same thing", does the same apply to Griselda if you listen to them?

Im not a super drake fan but I will listen to what he has to say. I skip the singing. I havent heard this new album yet, but will. I did hear that 7am song and i like it.

Criticizing rappers for talking about the same thing is one of the weakest things fans do. The fuck do people want these niggas to talk about? A rapper has a style and that's what they do. They be wanting these niggas to be multi sport rappers and shit. Let them do what they do.

And to be honest the only rappers who get criticized for rapping about the same shit are the rappers who are on top at that moment. It's just another form of hating on them and knocking them down a peg.

I loved Deep Pockets off dark demo tapes
 
Papi's Home is a clever track..........

It pulls together the whole theme of the album. Now the album cover makes sense.
