Guest dont really care where they stay if they not paying. They can go into the game room. They dont have to stay with me if they dont like the accommodations. I would put a bed or pull out couch in there. The child can have their own room.

Custody matters cause unless the parents both agree to alter the plan, the child will be there every time they are scheduled to be there

Why can’t the kid share w his sibling?

I mean, that's how I did it. Any time I'd go visit my pops I'd sleep in the room with my stepbrother. He usually had bunk beds in his room anyways so I crashed on one of them.

If there is an extra bedroom, that's their room. Even if there wasn't an extra bedroom, someone would be sharing a room with the step-kid when they're at the house.
