Does Gambling At A Casino Make Any Sense?

I remember back in 1994 when The Bulls were in the finals. In between games there was a big story about Michael Jordan going to Vegas in between games in the series. Then, when they won, and Jordan retired (the first time) I can remember a co-worker saying, "mark my words, Michael Jordan will go broke from gambling and come back to the NBA".

It's funny, he didn't go broke from gambling, but he did come back to the NBA.

I guess it's possible to gamble and not go broke if Michael Jordan can do it.

It don’t make sense, it makes cents

Indirectly related, but I never understood how card counting was illegal either.

Simply because people are just using their memory to do it.

Now, if they were getting some outside help.........or the dealer was tipping them off or working with them in some kind of way..............then I could see it.

But the only reason it's illegal is because it hurts the casinos.

There's nothing ethically wrong about it.

It's not cheating, it's just called cheating because it gives the players an advantage.

Yet, to your point, it's not a problem when the casinos have the advantage in almost every other scenario.

Well, gambling is people's choice. In my opinion, gambling should be restricted, but anyway, gamblers will find an alternative to gambling. For example, they can always play at different online casinos. In my opinion, playing at an online casino can be really fun and bring some additional profits, if you build a good strategy and set your limits properly. I often play at online casinos and get different bonuses, but my favorite one is https://www.ufabet.school/. On-site there are a lot of great online casino games and they have great customer service.

^^^^^ TROLL

It's impossible to have success at an online casino.

Every single game is rigged for the casino to win.

So i was in Vegas this past weekend. And just seeing how much people put down to win is crazy saw a guy put 200 on the roulette and just like that it was gone. He walked off cussing and shit.
Was on Freemont at another spot went in to the sino and dude put 40 down hit and just kept playing that same 20.
I spent about 40 on the slots and even then I felt bad about losing that.

Went to the casino for my nigga’s birthday last month. Everybody I came with won a few dollars except me. They kept telling me to put some more money down.

Na. Fuck that.

I lost the amount I was willing to lose and then just played cheerleader for everyone and sipped drinks the rest of the night.

That's not what happened.

Everybody lost money and they wanted you to lose like them.

You were smart for not continuing to gamble.

I feel you. It just feels so more natural to shoot dice on block than at a casino

Shit one anniversary my wife and I had dinner at a restaurant I was working at, so they rolled out the red carpet for us. Gifted us a bottle of wine, serval cooks brought out appetizers that that made for us that wasn't on the bill.. Like we left our dinner with about $200 more than we budgeted out for dinner...

So we was like fuck it... Casino

I swear we spent like $60 on slots, made a quick $300 and left almost immediately...

Spent prolly a half hour in there tops.... You just gotta have self control. We went to another bar, called up some fam and got a table with wings and beer coming he rest of the night

One of my old coworkers' wife worked at Alliante Resort and Casino in North Las Vegas. Dude told me he went to pick her up from work, sat at a slot machine, put $5 in it and won $200. Dude said he got up and waited for her by the front door 'cause the temptation to try to win again was too great.

That's how I used to do it playing roulette. If I was up a few hundred, I'd take my chips and leave. Fuck trying to turn it into something more.

In Vegas counting cards from memory is not illegal, it's when you use and electronic or mechanical device to count that it's considered cheating and, therefore, illegal.

However, it's not even realistic to even try anymore for Blackjack 'cause they now use more than one deck of cards.

It does not , you can't really change a person's compulsive attitude. Casinos make money because more people lose than they win

Shit’s supposed to be entertainment. Problem is, muhfuckas don’t know when to stop.

That’s how casinos get money. You think you spending $25 on the slots, next thing you know, you’re down $300.
