New Orleans was the first time I ever stepped foot in a casino and gambled. This was maybe 5 years ago. Saw a lady on the steps asking me for money to bet with. Said she will give it back once she won. She was gonna give me her driver license for collateral so it would not seem like she was lying about paying me back.

I saw that and thought to myself "never be like that". Gambling addiction is crazy and easy to fall into.

Actual casino games like slots and blackjack I suck at…. But I’ve had decent luck at sports gambling.

Won over a 100 bucks one time and I stopped. Grabbed my ticket and got da fucc up. Lol!
 
Biggest flip ever had was turning $60 into like $1100

But I took several breaks in between. And always stopped when I was up. But I kept going up every time a started back up.

The key is just letting knowing when you stop and take a break going back with only a small portion of your winnings
 
Casinos make sense for people who enjoy the act of gambling. If you can go there for a couple hours, lose money, but walk away feeling like you still had a good time, then I guess it's no worse than any other recreational activity. However, if you're actually going to casinos cause you expect to hit it big, you're an idiot.
 
Most gambling is for fools. Especially anything involving something electronic like slots or video poker.

I used to work for a company in canada that was working with thegovernment and there's basically a ratio for how much you as the owner of the machines are allowed to win. so my project (I didn't take it because it was morally fucked up) would have been to program the machines to win a certain amount of times spread over all the users. Shit was basically like a hidden tax implied on gambling addicts and I happened to know a gambling addict at the time so it was all bad.

But yeah... that shit is all a scam. I'd rather be a heroin addict than a gambling addict.

Loooooooooooootta folks like that here in Vegas. A good number of the homeless population got that way from gambling. They get $5 and they're at the nearest 7-11 or other gas station on the machines chasing the dragon.
 
Its wild how sports gambling n ads for it on tv has become so mainstream.

Draft kings changed the gm imo.

tbh there is jus too much money to be made in sports betting. Ppl jus luv to gamble

Otherwise, people that play poker with $100 bills (or $100 chips) are fools.

Even if I struck the lottery, I wouldn't play more than a $20 poker game.
