Of course that it’s about money is a given. The typical reason civil suits occur is because someone is at a loss financially. It’s rarely that they just pulled something out of thin air especially not in case when the other party settles.

And there could be other motives behind it as well, but that’s beside the point in material terms.
 
He may have given her more than the 30M to drop it but as others have said this may have just open the flood gates. She may have just not wanted to go through it all again in court

its not dumb - its a safe assumption and a reality emotional people are ducking

she has agreed to keep a horrible man free even though she has proof that would have put him away

she did what was best for HER, absolutely nothing wrong with that

what about other women he still has access to?
