I'm on the fence about this. On one end, both their first singles were mid but Cassie's was way more successful. On the other end, the follow thru for each were polar opposites. Rihanna had the Fefe Dobson preset package until Jay-Z gave her a makeover. Puff could've taken Cassie to the next level but didn't for reasons that are much more sinister now. IMO Cassie was more marketable.
