2:55 PM PT -- Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo and Judge Arun Subramanian went back and forth after bail was denied ... with Agnifilo arguing Diddy fought back in self defense during the alleged fight that went down with "Jane" in June 2024.

Agnifilo tried an emotional appeal to the judge ... noting Diddy's kids are in the courtroom -- and, his twin daughters have already lost their mother, Kim Porter. However, the judge wasn't swayed. The hearing on expedited sentencing is set for July 8.

If we’re gonna be completely honest about this whole entire subject, this was just a humiliation ritual. Now I do believe that there is an aspect of karma that should be embraced in terms of looking at him as this evil figure? Yes. However you can’t throw the book at a nigga because he was fucking. I don’t need to know about freakoffs, baby oil, fucking being a cuck….none of it.

The judge noted that at trial, “the defense conceded” Sean Combs’s violence in his personal relationships. “We own it,” Marc Agnifilo, Mr. Combs’s lead lawyer, said in his closing statemnet.

The judge is citing the defense’s own statements in closing arguments in making his decision to keep Sean Combs detained.
“If he was charged with domestic violence we wouldn’t all be here having a trial because he would have pled guilty — because he did that,” Marc Agnifilo, Sean Combs’s lead lawyer, had said.

One of the defense’s key strategies at trial has now come back to bite them during the bail hearing: admitting Sean Combs’s domestic violence.

Out smarted themselves with that play...
:hedidit:

I think he doin 3

That would be my guess too maybe even get time served and the rest either on house arrest/probation.

Prosecution did a really poor job on this case proving anything but did manage to drain his wallet some and really bring his freakiness to light so maybe thats somewhat of a win. Them freaky hoes got their little exposure both good/bad. Cassie still got them millions she’ll be aight.

The ENTIRE hip hop community was silent. Disgusting

But they ALL the same probably.

50 been calling this nigga a weirdo publicly for years. If you expand past rappers to journalists that cover and write about hip hop there were also plenty of articles written that wanted to see him convicted and criticized those who either supported him and the overall hip hop community for not being more vocal. These things aren't hard to find.
