It's not far-fetched at all, but is that what she said happened? She's so far removed from the abuse that the statue of limitations has passed. She's taken Puff to court and won a civil suit if I'm not mistaken. She's taken the stand in this trial and recounted what happened in disgusting detail. All that to say that she seems willing to tell her truth whatever that might be. They've asked her why she did the drugs and the escorts, and she answered directly that it was love and not wanting to lose Puff. She didn't say she did any of that because she was afraid she would be beaten. Am I wrong about that? I've only looked at this shit at a surface level so I fully acknowledge I might be missing something.
If I'm not wrong, why do all of you guys feel so comfortable saying she did those things out of fear of physical violence if she, herself, is not even saying that? I could more understand if she was still in the midst of the trauma and couldn't see what had been done to her, but she seems pretty clear on what happened from what I've read.
