Black americans only ones who think like this. People get conquered and subjugated all throughout history almost every ethnic group has dealt with slavery. But Africans in the americas the only ones without a unique culture? Thats insulting. You gonna deny naming, dialect, style, music and foods? Every definition of culture includes those things and black americans have all those things.

I think people are confused as to what culture actually is. It's not always nice positive ceremonies like rain dances or manhood imitations. Sometimes it is dumb ridiculous stuff. Or criminal. Like marrying off a 7 year old. That type of thing is very much accepted in some cultures, some not. Our culture is unique. Somethings about us are amazing but sure some things are dumb like all societies. We are waaay to hard on ourselves. I wish every AA could tour the world to see how unique and emulated we really are
