The Junior Mafia album was basically a biggie album and he made a double disc. So technically he had 4 albums.
We not doing this. Hip Hop one of the only genres that constantly tries to shit on our legends. Dude said Kendrick is more worthy bc he put out more music. Love Kendrick, but that is a Quantity over Quality POV

If you feel that either of Bigs albums is on a different tier from GKMC or TPAB then you're entitled but that's not a majority take. If you would say they're on the same level then.. that's the point. He doesn't CLEAR like that, that's why the lack of volume is an issue.

Honestly, I think that Kendrick is multiple levels below Biggie Smalls in terms of being able to rap. He’s from that Eminem school of technical ability, but Kendrick really isn’t as good as even Eminem. I don’t think Eminem is as good as Biggie Smalls. He’s not as lyrical as folks would want to protest that he is. He has a lot of gimmicky ways to how he rhymes. Like if you want to listen to biggie rap his ass off? You could just listen to his first verse on Hypnotize, and how he ebbs and flows on that verse. Or the second verse on the song, The What with Method Man.

That’s why I think that is hard to have discussions with people who don’t have a certain rap opinion, because it’s like they don’t get it. Listening to biggie rap the way that he did? A lot of rappers don’t have that working for them what he did.

Kendrick, Eminem, Cole all these dudes are blips on the radar. They don’t compare to Jay at all, much less Nas, Rakim, Tupac or BIG.


Kendrick isn’t a rap natural, doesn’t have a great rap voice, isn’t lyrically charismatic.

The so called majority take, is because they see Kendrick as today’s rapper and BIG as dad rap. It’s not true. Them folks haven’t been able to replicate the special blend of what he did.
