Welcome To aBlackWeb

This may be true, but the movie didn't imply this in the least. It was made clear in JL that the boxes woke up after Superman's death.
That's true, but just like Hela came back right after Odin died (I understand that's not the same) it's not a stretch that a being as powerful as Thanos wasn't made aware as well. Remember Odin had a version of the gauntlet in his chambers... pursuit of the The infinity stones wasn't new thanos exclusive concept....

It might be a reach... But I think it makes sense

This shit got me dying though

It's a lot of pics so I'll just post the link to it

I think there's a great film to be made where people in Gotham question the political structure and question if he's the hero they need. Because he is the most trash person in any super hero film

Sounds like the premises of ‘The White Knight’ comic...

I get the hate for The Bat from a modern day point of view but I always looked at him and Gotham as how they begun in the early 30s: Gotham is the epitome of everything which was and is wrong with America, a lost city which is corrupted to its very core, the police, the politicians are all working for the mobs,(meta) humans etc. A surreal reality. Almost every origin story starts with Batman and Gordon trying to end the Injustice etc.

His first enemies are always the cops cause they’re harming the citizens of Gotham instead of protecting them. ‘The Master Race’ from Frank Miller touches that subject very well.

He's literally beating up street criminals meanwhile he has the power to make all the changes.

His first point should be fighting corruption at the very top of his own organisations.

The asylum he owns you seen the state of it he has the power to fix that

yeah that’s the thing, there are 100s of comics with different writers who all portrayed him differently.

like since the DC rebirth/reset in 2016, in the Detective Comics run he’s running Gotham with the Batfam, Clayface, Azrael etc and in his Solo books or DC Blacklabel the Batfam doesn’t even exist etc.

he started as a pipe smoking detective driving a red obnoxious car and nowadays he’s fighting Aliens on distant planets and shit.

To the core, Gotham was built on corruption. Way before the waynes were a thing. That has alot to do with the court of owls. Bruce does a lot of giving back to the city but damn near all the politicians are corrupt. So he is always met with interference.

Du is that anti-Life the same as the Anti-Matter from Crisis from last year.
No, crisis deals with the anti-monitor. He's an entity that is more like beerus in theory... It's hard to explain

Basically the monitor and anti- monitor were created as a cheat code to reset DC comics.

The monitor watches over and rarely interferes while the anti-monitor destroys universes. The monitor told the heroes about him to see if they could stop him. The end result is that all the different multiverse are combined until the need to reset comes up again. Flashpoint was another soft reset

Weedon added some nice lines...

That won't let me live, won't let me die line was great. I ain't t why Snyder didn't include

Did Snyder use anything from Whedon? I know they were in post production when he bounced so I figured he wouldn't have had to.

That was a great line though.
