Welcome To aBlackWeb

I enjoyed it.

I still think it was essentially the same movie.. Just with more time dedicated to character and plot development.

The extra and extended scenes did all to serve that purpose. Cyborg got his due. You understood Steppenwolf. He didn't seem like a dry villain. There was some cool action.... But nothing really grand or epic in the sense of the big fights in infinity war or endgame.

Superman dragging the justice league was dope.
Steppenwolf vs the Amazons was really good.

Superman stomped Steppenwolf though.... That was kinda anticlimactic.

But I like how they served The head to Darkseid...and flash running back in time was dope as fuck.

All in out, I'm glad they did this. I give it a strong 9/10. It's definitely the best DCEU film now. I feel like this is what we should have had all along. I'm happy.i can see some people not liking it... But I feel it was the love letter fans of the franchise wanted.

It's a shame they won't continue from here... They had it together

Way better movie than the theater release. They butchered Zach Snyder's vision a messed up the whole film with the edits and added in stuff. SMH.

it was some items they could've trimmed down in the Snyder cut, but honestly most of the stuff that was in this cut was needed to help explain the film and the scope of what the heroes were up against. The theater release totally screwed Ray Fisher's Cyborg character but this version gave it alot more credibility and showed a ton more heart. I also enjoyed the way they portrayed Arthur Curry aka Aquaman in this film.

Hopefully people give this a chance and enjoy it as much as I did because this is definitely worth the 4 hour watch and a way better film. If it does well money/praise wise hopefully Zach Snyder and the actors would be willing to do a part 2 or other projects with these characters.

We can hope for the best, but I think this was the best we're gonna get. Which is cool. I'm happy with it ending on that note. Like of course I would love to see them continue on.... But if they can't... This was a fitting farewell. It didn't fix the DCEU as a whole, but it did validate this particular film and Snyder's vision

You know what's funny?

Wandavision gave you the perfect analogy with the ship of Theseus: thought experiment that raises the question of whether an object that has had all of its components replaced remains fundamentally the same object.

Joss took a movie took away alot of crucial components and put in unnecessary or weaker components.

Anyone who can sit there with a straight face and say this is even remotely the same movie is either delusional or an outright liar who can't bear having to admit being wrong.

People who were dead ass wrong about the Snyder Cut but are still backpedaling just so they won't say "my bad I was wrong"

Like it's if you take

I disagree...

Not REMOTELY the same?

same actors, same plot, 1 of the same directors....a lot of this was the same.

We got more development and more attention to shit that fell short in the theatrical version. But I don't see where it was a completely different film.... Just a better version of what we already saw taking it's time instead of being rushed

Basically I think we could have gotten this same movie had Snyder never left the project. It might've been over two or more films.... But this was always it.

We just got a chopped up version of it in theaters

I liked the treatment for Aquaman alot better in this joint as well. First cut I aint really take him too serious cuz they tried to throw mad jokes in there.

This joint showed him as somebody not to be fucked with.

they didnt go overboard with the jokes for him. Dude just pointing at the flash like "this is your fuckin fault" after superman jacked them up was more hilarious than any of the shit they tried in the first cut

This is what im sayin. What we got from aquaman i know good and well wasnt what James Wan wanted that movie to be. Wonder Woman and Aquaman were both "Created" (for the DCEU) by Zack, Patty Jenkins, and James Wan for the characters they were directing. Even the first Wonder Woman film seemed to be more aimed towards Snyders representation with minor changes, but when aquaman gets introduced its all jokes and bright colors and horrible acting and score. WW84 comes out and its more in line with Aquaman.

They
Just can't wrap my head around it. Things like this frustrate me w movie studios..
got shook from the fan backlash thats why. They hired joss Whedon who wrote the script for age of ultron to appeal to the casuals and it backfired. I watched a clip on youtube for justice league 2017 worst lines and I wanted to vomit. You can't make Bruce Wayne act like Tony stark and expect it to work because thats what I saw when I watched that clip. They were the avengers in justice league skin. Not only that the cinematography was off .it was too bright and colorful. Flash's suit Brightly colored looks ugly. Ben Affleck looked like a comicon cosplayer in that Batman suit the mask looked off. It was just bad.

Why the insults though?

Nobody playing nothing.

I think it was the same movie with more development... You think it was a whole different film.

I don't get that part... But whatever keep it moving. No need for the extra shit.

Who don't know the definition of a 4 letter word??

You insult our intelligence for arguing for who knows how long that this is the same as the 2017 Justice League film.

It is not the same. By definition of the word "same", this 4 hour movie is not the same. It is certainly not "essentially the same" when so many essential elements of the films are different.

I noticed something. Why is mera so different in justice league and the aquaman movie? In the aquaman film she has no accent. Also is that the same actress? I'm a little confused.

Agree to disagree. I see the same actors, the same plot.

I see more development to the plot, but I see the same movie.

This shit was fucking FLAMES!!!!

My ONLY annoyance is the amazon music that kept playing when wonder woman was in combat😂

This was NOT the same movie with added footage. The pacing was so much better. The character development was so much better. I actually gave a damn about their plight.

The way they came together was much better. It wasn't ham fisted at all.

MVP goes to cyborg/Ray Fisher. You really felt his pain and his resentment towards his father. Idk if his relationship with WB can be salvaged but dude needs to be part of what they are doing moving forward.

I even enjoyed the flash much more this time around. Again, more character development was needed instead of being shoe horned into the movie.

They have upped the bar on how they display speedsters on camera. They did a phenomenal job with the flash.

I want more of this shit!!! Man I wish they would've gotten green lantern shit right the first time. How much better would it have been with the green lantern as an established character.

That epilogue though!!!
