I'm still waiting on a good DC comic book movie (keyword is COMIC BOOK... those Christopher Nolan cosplay gangster films don't count). Batman and Superman will never get old to me, but you can only stretch the dead parent/Lex Luthor tropes so far. Superman is an alien and Batman is a modern day Hugh Hefner... how do you not have fun with that? That's why my favorite Batman movie by default is Batman and Robin... they at least knew they were making some pig shit and went all out.
...But I'm tried of the same 2 characters (Bats & Supes). That's why I'm excited for Black Adam, & Shazaam 2. Hopefully Aquaman 2 follows in the Cap 2 direction, ie far better than the first.
