You can’t do a Batman trilogy and not have the Joker at some point. The way it seems and the way the director spoke of him, Joker probably won’t be a threat til the last film

Exactly, Joker is essential. The animated movies are some of the best movies and Joker is always around. So why keep him out of these movies? If people never get tired of seeing different versions of Batman why get tired of seeing different versions of Joker, especially if done well?

You can do a Batman trilogy without joker. Comic fans claim Batman has the best rogue gallery but we keep getting the same ol joker. This trilogy have a chance to give us a breath of fresh air

Because the Joker is basically the Yang to Batman’s Yin lol they literally go hand in hand. Niggas will always wonder where is the Joker???? People are going to want to see The Joker shoot the fair one with Batman.

there’s so many other villains and it’s not like the Batman IP has been suffering from lack of popularity to the point where you need to tell this many joker stories
Based on how this one ended I don’t see the need to have her in the sequel but they already said Zoe kravitz is coming back

Spot on with your point about people wondering where is the Joker. Even if he’s not the main villain, you can’t just leave him out all together. There’s been very few of the animated joints where he doesn’t show up at all.

Batman's world I'd bigger than the Joker. Some of the best stories fo not involbe the Joker. The Arkham games relied too much on the Joker but Batman as a franchise does not

Maybe in the comic franchise, but in the movie and animated franchises, with which the causal viewer is more familiar, Joker is a big deal. And leaving him out completely isn’t the best move. Even Nolan recognized that. So much so had Ledger not died Joker would have played a role in Rises.
I’d venture to say Joker is just as important to the franchise as Batman. A lot of people even prefer Joker over Batman. Batman is basically the same every movie, but Joker can be so many different variations it can be fresh and new each time.
