Is this considered the first movie in this new DC universe or is it Blue Beetle?
I recall when gunn first got hired on he said blue beetle is technically the first DCU film.

Theres been a rumor of an Animated sequel being developed. Same actor who played BB in the live action film will be voicing Jaime Reyes again. Dunno when it will or if it will ever go into production.

Surprised there hasnt been any major timeline updates like they usually give at comic con. Im still not positive if Clayface is supposed to take place in the DCU or if its an Elseworlds story. I've read that it will be a DCU film and the character appeared in the creature commandos show, but set photos revealed the bat symbol from the Matt Reeves/Robert Pattinson batman. Its all confusing being this early. only things we know for sure in the future are a Superman sequel co starring Lex Luthor and a supergirl movie. Clayface is being developed but where it belongs is a mystery to me.

She's known to let loose more and not hold back her punches and her morals aren't like his. Lex is screwed if Superman didn't get the dog back lol

This shit was trash. MoS >>

I like the fact that they're establishing the existence of Metahumans from the start. I also like that showed Superman bleeding right away, so he's not looking invincible out of the gate. Outside of that, I hated everything else about this movie. It was a chore to get through. I really hope this isn't going to be the tone for every movie in the new universe.

Also, Lex wanted to become Doctor Doom as a roundabout way of getting permission to kill Superman? WTF?

Finally saw this

I thought it was pretty decent

It didn't suck at all but there were some stumbles here and there.

I like how they showed different ways that Superman could be hurt

I'm interested in Element Man and what his role will be moving forward. Mr terrific was better than I thought he would be. Would also like some expanded stories including him.

I liked the bright and vibrant colors also. I think this was a great start to the gunn universe

Rewatched last night. Still enjoyed it. I know there's humor in it, but i like its not performed in dumb forced one liners like a lot of marvel movies are.

Will still miss the serious/realism the original DCEU aimed for, but im excited to see what Gunn and Safran do with these characters.

Excited as hell for the Man Of Tomorrow and the Supes/Lex team up.
