There’s very subtle jokes that made me laugh

2nd ep is sooo chaotic lol
Liked the coffee for Joo joke and the one with Dave’s dad saying Dave.com was hacked because it sends you to a banking app

lol as the 2nd ep ends I can say I liked it because that music video went through so much shit to be made and all the constant changes

The first one to me was he was having a quintessential life crisis and it seemed like it was gonna be one of those tv show things where his prayers are answered and the twists are hilariously wild yet believable. It’s greatly written for that reason. It’s wild but it’s still more likely to happen than the tv land shit they were fooling you into believing would happen.
The second one, there wasn’t really any of that, everything that I do find annoying about his character was on display in overdrive. Every main character was just a side character there to highlight just how narcotic dude is. Without their personalities to bring out the best parts of his personality that relates to them individually. Dave is just a narcissistic entitled dick.
