I'm a Kappa, but I left the frat life behind in college. One of my best friends was my line brother and I'm still cool with a few others, but other than that, I saw it as an undergrad thing. I wasn't going back to the parties and to pledge new bruhs. I'll hit the occasional reunion but that's about it.
As far as crossing and all that, pledging was actually the easy part and we pledged for an entire semester. Shit was crazy at times, but simple. But actually running the yard, throwing parties, community service, frat politics, pledging new members, step shows, fundraisers, etc. was the hardest part of it. I guess for those of us that put in real work after we crossed.
And I got a lot of pussy before crossing, but the amount I got after I couldn't even believe. And I didn't even fuck the groupies. I was always charming and handsome so the letters just put me on a stage to be seen by more women.
All in all, a great experience I would do all over again if given the opportunity. The brotherhood and things you learned from bruhs you can't put a price on. A lot of educated, driven people. Some knuckleheads, but even they were ride or die.
I would have had a great college experience without it, but got damn if it didn't enhance my experience 100 fold.
And I'm not here to argue pros and cons or address bullshit myths. I had my experience and that's all I'm going to speak on. I have nothing to prove or debunk to anyone.
