Dallas Officer Amber Guyger's trial for the murder of Botham Shem Jean begins (FOUND GUILTY)

The fact that the judge was endorsed by the police department should have told us all we needed to know.

They probably were cool. Being an officer in that community meant she saw all of those people involved in the courts on a regular basis. Im sure she fealt bad for her.

But the disparity of how these cases conclude for minorities vs white people with similar circumtances is the real issue here.

How can yall be more upset than the family this directly affected?

Him doing what he did has more to do with him as a person vs his religion.

No black person prays to a white Jesus. I've never heard one black person in my life say Jesus is white. I think everybody is aware that the art is not representative of what he looked like as a person.

Many Africans were already practicing Christianity before slavery, and many are still to this day. This biggest con is a flat out lie. How can a religion who origins don't even begin in Europe be accredited to Europeans??

Like, all that shit screams ignorance.

It wasn't the religion in him that made him do what he did. It was the him in him.... The rest of his family prolly all go to that same church, and ain't none of them do that.

People gotta separate their personal feelings about religion from things that are just inherent in human nature.

Nah there is definitely a deep religious component he expressed that and thos example has played itself out countless times... Not everyone processes things they are exposed to in like fashiom
 
That's my point. Everybody ain't gonna read some scripture and jump up to hug a chick that killed his brother.

I'm one of them. I go to church every Sunday, give testimonies, sing in the men's choir, all that.... And I ain't jumping up to hug that chick.. My mind wouldn't even be on that tip. Cuz that ain't me.b same religion, but I couldn't do it.


That wasn't religion. That was him. That's my point.

Fuck all that. Forgiveness ain't got shit to do with hugging her and saying he don't want her to go to prison. He is a bitch made traitorous coward period. My aunt ain't m do no shit like that after they killed my cousin.
