someone who had one of the top hip-hop media outlets publicly declare war agaisnt dude...... someone who had to earn his acceptance throughout the underground community as almost an urban legend, and needed the co-sign of an established legend to even break through, and still took a few years to shake stigma of being a silly token white rapper not to be taken seriously..even by his own label.....and in return gave back to the culture by breaking through on satellite radio...giving greats like Sway a stage to highlight and introduce underground and independent artists to a worldwide audience....

plus i felt he was more influenced by oldschool rap like run dmc beastie boys n shit like that.....

guys like him, fred durst, and linkin park....they was doing their own music with hip hop influence.......

It's the fact that some things we do in our culture are looked at as ghetto, unclassy, belligerent, absurd, dysfunctional, unpleasant, and savage-like, but once a Caucasian, Caucasoid, or Viking does it, it's considered cute, trendy, and acceptable.


That song seems like a parody. If this was by any other artist, it would still be trash. Garbage today, garbage tmrw. But lemme let these white folks have "fun" bouncing in their cutoffs, homemade sleeveless tops, cowboy boots, and Confederate symbolisms.

Agreed. White ppl regularly use black culture as a joke. It's cute, trendy, and most importantly temporary.
